Which enduro level are you?

Most riders have a rough idea of where they stand. These questions help you match yourself to the right tour.

Ask yourself these questions

How many seasons have you been riding enduro? Have you ridden gravel, sand, mud and rocks, or mostly one surface? Are you comfortable at low speed on a climb and on a descent? Can you stand on the pegs and keep your balance on a rough track? Have you fallen, and did you get back on the bike?

Honest answers matter more than impressive ones. Two seasons on varied ground can prepare you better than ten seasons on the same road.

Beginners

If you've ridden little or no enduro, start with Forest & Hills. The trails are smoother and the pace is steady. It's the best way to build confidence in the basics: braking, body position and throttle control.

Intermediate riders

If you're comfortable on varied terrain, Carpathian Explorer is the balanced choice. It has forest, climbs, ridges and connecting roads, and it's technical enough to keep you focused without being punishing.

Experienced riders

Transylvania Challenge is for riders who can keep control on rock, on slopes and in water. It asks for technique and fitness, and it suits riders who want to test themselves.

Short trips and weekends

Weekend Escape is two days with accommodation and meals included. It works for beginners and intermediate riders. If you already have plenty of saddle time, we can pick a more technical route for the second day.

Still unsure?

Tell us your experience, the bike you have and the terrain you enjoy. We'll suggest a route and tell you honestly whether it fits now or whether a smaller step first makes more sense.
